The International Trade Administration (ITA) is amending its preliminary affirmative antidumping (AD) duty determination on chlorinated isocyanurates from China in order to correct significant ministerial errors with respect to Jiheng.
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) has issued a notice that amends, effective February 9, 2005, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule in order to indicate that Mauritius is a lesser-developed African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) beneficiary country for the one-year period from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005.
In the February 16, 2005 issue of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Bulletin (CBP Bulletin) (Vol. 39, No. 8), CBP issued notices: (a) revoking or modifying four classification rulings on certain extruded polyethylene or polypropylene mesh or plastic, and (b) modifying a classification ruling on fruits and an herb preserved in acetic acid. CBP states that it is also revoking any treatment it has previously accorded to substantially identical transactions that are contrary to its position in these notices.

On February 9, 2005, President Bush issued Proclamation 7870 in order to modify the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) rules of origin, specifically the tariff classification rules1 (TCRs) in General Note 12(t) of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), for certain originating goods from Canada or Mexico.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an ABI administrative message stating that in Adm: 05-0018, which listed the ABI system requirements for filing U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement (UAFTA) claims, CBP had erroneously indicated that the Special Program Indicator (SPI) in record identifier 50 is located in positions 79-80.
