The Commerce Department has published the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on non-refillable steel cylinders from China (A-570-126). In the final results of this review, Commerce will set assessment rates for subject merchandise from the companies under review entered May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024.
The Commerce Department has published the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on citric acid and certain citrate salts from China (A-570-937). The agency preliminarily assigned the RZBC group of companies -- RZBC Group Co., Ltd., RZBC Co., Ltd., RZBC Import & Export Co., Ltd., and RZBC (Juxian) Co., Ltd. -- a zero percent AD rate for the period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024. If that rate is confirmed in Commerce's final results, the agency won't set assessments on importers of AD for subject merchandise from RZBC entered during that period, and a zero percent cash deposit rate would take effect upon publication of those final results.
The Commerce Department is amending the final results published July 29 of the antidumping administrative review on softwood lumber products from Canada (A-122-857). The agency heard from Canfor and West Fraser, the mandatory respondents in the review that pointed out errors in a calculation Commerce used in arriving at the AD rates, after the final results for setting assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Jan. 1, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2023, were published.

The International Trade Commission began a Section 337 investigation on allegations that NJOY and Altria Group, and their subsidiaries, are importing and selling vaporizer devices that infringe patents held by Juul Labs, Inc. (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1460), it said in a Sept. 9 press release.
The Commerce Department is issuing antidumping duty and countervailing duty orders on hexamethylenetetramine (hexamine) from China (A-570-180/C-570-181). The orders, released Sept. 10, set permanent antidumping and countervailing duties, which will remain in place unless revoked by Commerce in a sunset or changed circumstances review. Commerce will now begin conducting annual administrative reviews, if requested, to determine final assessments of AD/CVD on importers and make changes to cash deposit rates.
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on welded stainless pressure pipe from India (A-533-867). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Nov. 1, 2022, through Oct. 31, 2023.
The Commerce Department has released the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on chlorinated isocyanurates from China (C-570-991). The agency calculated new CVD cash deposit rates for the Chinese producers and exporters listed below. There were slight changes to the preliminary results of this review that affected the rates calculated for the two respondents, increasing them (from 4.53% and 3.58%, respectively). These final results will be used to set final assessments of CVD on importers for entries Jan. 1, 2022, through Dec. 31, 2022.
