The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the first antidumping duty administrative review of circular welded austenitic stainless pressure pipe from China (A-570-930) for the sole respondent, Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals Co., Ltd./Huzhou Jiuli Welded Stainless Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., which sets a zero AD cash deposit rate for the entity. This rate, which is officially effective July 22, 2011, is expected to be implemented by CBP soon.

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Thailand (A-549-822). The review sets the AD cash deposit rates for two mandatory respondents and 140 separate rate respondents. The AD rates, which are officially effective July 12, 2011, are expected to be implemented by CBP soon.
Officials at the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service state that the June 30 advance notice of proposed rulemaking asking for comments on specific proposals for the Lacey Act Declaration for imported plants and plant products - such as de minimis exceptions for (i) small amounts of plant materials and (ii) composite plant materials - was issued pursuant to APHIS' general regulatory authority. In addition, officials expect the agency to issue its long-awaited report1 to Congress on the Lacey Act Amendments2 by August 29, 2011.
