CBP has released its July 17 Customs Bulletin (Vol. 58, No. 28). CBP detained 291 shipments under suspicion of forced labor in June, the agency said this week; the goods were valued at more than $39 million. The monthly report also said CBP seized 1,501 shipments of counterfeit goods in June. It collected $2.3 million worth of duties and fees from goods that had been improperly declared, where the violations were identified in audits.

CBP created Harmonized System Update 2410 on July 11, containing 52 Automated Broker Interface (ABI) records and 15 Harmonized Tariff Schedule records. The update includes the "latest Section 232 Mexico Aluminum and Steel updates and adjustments required by the verification of the 2024 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)."
