The International Trade Administration is correcting its March 31, 2011 notice of the initiation of antidumping duty administrative reviews with February anniversary dates to correct the deadline for Separate Rate Certifications for non-market economy countries (in this case, China and Vietnam). The ITA incorrectly stated that the certifications are due no later than 30 days after publication of the Federal Register notice, or by May 2, 2011. The correct deadline for Separate Rate Certifications is 60 days after publication, or May 31, 2011. The International Trade Administration has issued the preliminary results of the antidumping duty administrative review of certain pasta from Turkey (A-489-805) covering the period July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
The International Trade Commission is adopting a rule amendment revising 19 CFR Part 210 (Adjudication and Enforcement) regarding investigations and related proceedings under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 (patent-related investigations) to allow the Office of Unfair Import Investigations the flexibility to reassign attorneys to cases as necessary without having to publish notices announcing the change in the Federal Register. The ITC states that the new rule will have no substantive effect on its practice in conducting Section 337 investigations.
