The trade community will continue filling out the form which needs to be signed by the requester, said CBP. The agency will acknowledge receipt of the inspection request via email with the following statement: “Received and recorded XXXX hrs” (military time). This email will serve as a confirmation that the information has been recorded in the Operations Desk Inspections Daily Work Log. If a confirmation email isn't received, contact the Operations Desk Supervisor at (305) 869-2800 to verify the status of your request, the notice said.
