It also said there were declines in Africa (-4.8%), Europe (-1.5%) and North America (-1.5%), but robust growth in the Middle East (+6%), Asia-Pacific (+5.3%) and Latin America-Caribbean (+4.4%). Thirteen of the 30 leading global freight airports in terms of traffic weighting had year-over-year declines, but the top three global freight hubs grew -- Hong Kong (+6.8%), Shanghai ( +2.2%) and Memphis (+1.9%), it said.
