The International Trade Commission has issued a Federal Register notice of its investigation, "Advice Concerning Possible Modifications to the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences, 2010 Review of Competitive Need Limitation Waivers" (Inv. 332-522). ITC is investigating the impact of granting waivers of the CNL for four country/tariff number combinations. It will hold a public hearing on February 17, 2011, and comments are due by February 24, 2011. It is expected to submit its report to the U.S. Trade Representative by April 11, 2011.
