CBP has posted an updated version of its CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) - an electronic query report for CF 1400 of the Vessel Management System (VMS), in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by entrances. CBP has also posted an updated CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) - an electronic query report for CF 1401 of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.
CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching their restraint limit or have filled their in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections: those that are at least 85% filled and those that are filled.
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of July 5, 2011. This report includes TRQs on various products such as beef, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa products, and tobacco; and certain BFTA, DR-CAFTA, Israel FTA, JFTA, MFTA, OFTA, SFTA, UAFTA (AFTA) and UCFTA (Chile FTA) non-textile TRQs; etc. Each report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, BFTA, DR-CAFTA, CBTPA, Haitian HOPE, MFTA, NAFTA, OFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TPLs and TRQs for qualifying textile articles and/or other articles; the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics; etc.
On June 20, 2011, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Port of Boston identified and seized a shipment of 183 boxes of counterfeit music CDs bearing images of a Marvel Entertainment character for intellectual property rights violations.
CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing recent changes to the 2011 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HS Update No. 1104). This update has 175 ABI records and 42 harmonized tariff records.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is announcing an additional 30 day comment period for the proposed extension and revision of its existing information collection concerning the Documentation Requirements for Articles Entered Under Various Special Tariff Treatment Provisions, which it plans to submit to the Office of Management and Budget for approval.

CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that Ocean and Rail AMS was experiencing problems with its Transaction file which resulted in failures to send the 1R, 1S, and A1 disposition codes. The problem began 07/01/2011 at 1:00 a.m. and was expected to be resolved on 07/02/2011 at 11:00 p.m.
