The Port of Pittsburgh Commission announced Stephen Martinko will be its new executive director. Martinko has been deputy staff director of the House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee since January 2013.

Atagi previously worked as managing partner of NorthStar Policy Navigation. "Atagi will be responsible for developing and delivering association messaging, raising and maintaining a high profile for NWPCA, and cultivating new programs and services to further strengthen the industry," the association said in a press release.
The Port of Long Beach named Jon Slangerup as its new chief executive. Slangerup previously served as president of FedEx Canada.
Sandler & Travis Trade Advisory Services named Anu Gavini as its new president and chief operations officer. Gavini headed Chrysler’s corporate customs group prior to joining Sandler & Travis in 2000.
Littleton Joyce hired Thomas Grasso as of counsel in the law firm's maritime and transportation practice, it said. Grasso focuses on cargo damage and loss subrogation litigation in New York and New Jersey, the firm said.
