The International Trade Commission is beginning a Section 337 investigation on glow fish tape systems, safety helmet systems, and their components (ITC Inv. No. 337-TA-1442) after receiving allegations filed by Klein Tools Inc. that Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. is importing products that infringe its patents, the agency said in a March 13 press release.

The Commerce Department is amending the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Mexico (A-201-844), covering the period Nov. 1, 2019, through Oct. 31, 2020, based on a recent decision in a court case challenging those final results. Commerce calculated a revised AD rate for Grupo Simec, which affected the review average rate for Grupo Acerero S.A. de C.V. (Grupo Acerero), and Sidertul S.A. de C.V. (Sidertul). The AD rate for all of the respondents changed to zero percent.
The Commerce Department published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on circular welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube products from Turkey (A-489-501). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023.
The Commerce Department is setting new countervailing duty cash deposit requirements for imports of thermoformed molded fiber products from China (C-570-183) and Vietnam (C-552-846), after finding illegal subsidization of producers in both countries in the preliminary determinations of its CVD investigations. Suspension of liquidation and cash deposit requirements take effect for Chinese companies March 14, and for Vietnamese companies they take retroactive effect Dec. 14.

The Commerce Department has published amended final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China (A-570-016), originally published April 26, 2019, to align with a partial judgment in a court case that challenged a rate in those results.
