The Commerce Department and the International Trade Commission began five-year sunset reviews of the antidumping duty and countervailing orders on aluminum wire and cable from China (A-570-095/C-570-096); carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from China (A-570-104/C-570-105) and India (A-533-887/C-533-888); vertical metal file cabinets from China (A-570-110/C-570-111); and welded stainless steel pressure pipe from China (A-570-930/C-570-931). It also will consider revoking the antidumping duty orders on acetone from Belgium (A-423-814), South Korea (A-580-899), Singapore (A-559-808), South Africa (A-791-824) and Spain (A-469-819); carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from Taiwan (A-583-865) and Thailand (A-549-840); malleable iron pipe fittings from China (A-570-881); mattresses from China (A-570-092); steel nails from China (A-570-909); and welded stainless steel pressure pipe from Malaysia (A-557-815), Thailand (A-549-830) and Vietnam (A-552-816), Commerce said in a notice released Nov. 1.

The Commerce Department issued notices in the Federal Register on its recently initiated antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on thermoformed molded fiber products from China (A-570-182/C-570-183) and Vietnam (A-552-845/C-552-846). The CVD investigations cover entries Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2023. The AD investigations cover entries April 1, 2024 - Sept. 30, 2024.

The Commerce Department said it's rescinding the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from China (A-570-893) for the period of review Feb. 1, 2023, through Jan. 31, 2024, because there were no reviewable, suspended entries of subject merchandise during the review period for any of the companies for which the review had been requested. Commerce will instruct CBP to assess AD on all appropriate entries, at rates equal to the cash deposit of estimated AD required at the time of entry, or withdrawal from warehouse, for consumption, it said.

The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on large diameter welded pipe from Canada (A-122-863). These final results will be used to set final assessments of antidumping duties on importers for subject merchandise entered May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023. Changes to cash deposit rates take effect Oct. 31, the date these final results were published in the Federal Register.

The Commerce Department has published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium (A-423-808). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023.

The Commerce Department announced the opportunity to request administrative reviews by Dec. 2 for producers and exporters subject to 46 antidumping duty orders, 14 countervailing duty orders, and one suspended antidumping duty investigation with November anniversary dates, in a notice to be published Nov. 1.
