The U.S. Council for International Business updated its list of upcoming "advanced classes" on the new Incoterms (Incoterms® 2010) that took effect Jan. 1, 2011.

CBP rescheduled its Webinar on the Centers of Excellence and Expertise and the role of customs brokers for 11 a.m. on May 28, the agency said in a CSMS message. The Webinar was previously scheduled for May 21. Registration isn't required, said CBP. A link to the webinar will be (here).
CBP listed changes to the Electronic Invoice Program (EIP)/Remote Location Filing (RLF) hybrid ineligible forms list (dated June 2011). CBP said in a CSMS message the following forms have been removed from the ineligible forms list and are eligible to be submitted to CBP via the EIP/RLF hybrid process:
Customs Rulings Online Search System (CROSS) was updated May 14 with 187 rulings, bringing the total number of searchable rulings to 177,316. The most recent ruling is dated 05/10/2013.
Matt Howsare, the chief of staff and chief counsel to Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Chairman Inez Tenenbaum, is leaving the agency to join the law firm Mintz Levin as counsel in Washington, said Tenenbaum in a statement. Effective May 29, Elliot Kaye, the current deputy chief of staff and senior counsel to the chairman, will move up to Howsare's spot, the press release said.
The Food and Drug Administration added two new documents providing Affirmation of Compliance codes for use with FDA regulation products, CBP said in a CSMS message (here). The new guides are available (here). The codes are used to show that a product identified in an FDA line meets certain requirements, said CBP. Though use of the codes if voluntary, the data can expedite screening and further review of an entry, said CBP.

CBP posted a May 13 version of its CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) electronic query report of the Vessel Management System (VMS), in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by entrances. CBP also posted a version of its CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) electronic query report of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances.
CBP issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of May 13. This report includes TRQs on various products such as beef, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa products, and tobacco; and certain BFTA, DR-CAFTA, Israel FTA, JFTA, MFTA, OFTA, SFTA, UAFTA (AFTA) and UCFTA (Chile FTA) non-textile TRQs etc. Each report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, BFTA, DR-CAFTA, CBTPA, Haitian HOPE, MFTA, NAFTA, OFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TPLs and TRQs for qualifying textile articles and/or other articles; the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics, etc.
