Ltd. The rate, which is effective April 12, 2012, is expected to be implemented by U.S. Customs and Border Protection soon.

The Agricultural Marketing Service issued a final rule amending the Mango Promotion, Research, and Information Order to increase the assessment rate on first handlers and importers of mangos from one half cent per pound to three quarters of a cent per pound. The National Mango Board recommended the action to ensure that its research and promotion programs continue to be adequately funded.
More than $896,000 in proceeds from the distribution of counterfeit sports apparel as the result of an investigation into the sale of counterfeit goods on commercial websites were seized by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement-led National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center) and the Department of Justice. The investigation also resulted in the seizure of seven domain names engaged in the sale of counterfeit goods. The funds were seized from interbank accounts and three PayPal accounts.
The Bureau of Industry and Security posted an online tool to help users of License Exception Strategic Trade Authorization (STA) determine if they're eligible to use and will be in compliance with License Exception STA. The tool is purely voluntary and serves as a checklist to identify and verify the key eligibility and compliance requirements of License Exception STA. Using the tool does not guarantee eligibility. It's important for all exporters to review the requirements of the EAR, specifically section 740.20.

The Food and Drug Administration said Enesco, LLC is voluntarily recalling the ONIM “Any Wine Will Do” ceramic wine goblets, SKU # 4026171. Enesco is recalling the “Any Wine Will Do” wine goblets because, through its internal compliance and independent laboratory product testing program, it became aware that the wine goblets may exceed the FDA’s guidance levels for leachable lead and cadmium. Enesco sold about 300 of the “Any Wine Will Do” wine goblets to retail stores in AR, CA, CO, FL, HI, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MO, MI, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SD, TX, VA, VT, WA and WI. No illness related to this product has been reported. The recall only applies to this item and no other ONIM products are affected.
