Bond amounts with 10 digits -- which equal an amount in the billions of dollars -- will be reported in the K2 output record, while bond amounts with nine digits or less will continue to be reported in the K1 output record.

This update is reflected in Version 7 of the Importer/Bond Query implementation guide and will be available in the “Chapters: Current Capabilities” section of the CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR) website upon deployment, CBP said.
