The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on wooden bedroom furniture from China (A-570-890). Commerce continued to find that the one company under review -- Shenzhen New Fudu Furniture Co., Ltd. -- isn't eligible for a separate rate and is part of the China-wide entity, with an AD cash deposit rate of 216.01% effective Sept. 17.

Likewise, Commerce is assigning that 216.01% China-wide cash deposit rate to seven other companies, also effective Sept. 17. Those companies are (1) Dorbest Ltd.; (2) Fine Furniture (Shanghai) Ltd.; (3) Rui Feng Lumber Development Co., Ltd.; (4) Rui Feng Woodwork Co., Ltd.; (5) Wanvog Furniture (Kunshan) Co., Ltd.; (6) Yeh Brothers World Trade Inc.; and (7) Zhongshan Fookyik Furniture Co., Ltd.

Commerce will direct CBP to assess antidumping duties on importers of subject merchandise from Shenzhen New Fudu and the other seven companies at that 216.01% rate for entries in calendar year 2023.

For any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except the ones detailed above), cash deposit rates will remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the China-wide rate of 216.01% applies.

(The review period is 01/01/23 - 12/31/23. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2505150039 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
