Oman Aluminum Foil: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on aluminum foil from Oman (A-523-815). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers for subject merchandise entered Nov. 1, 2022, through Oct. 31, 2023.

Commerce made calculation changes for the mandatory respondent after reviewing comments received following publication of the preliminary results of this review. The final AD rate rises significantly from the preliminary rate of 5.84%.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except Oman Aluminium Rolling Company), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 3.89% applies.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Sept. 12
For entries on or after Sept. 12, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for subject merchandise produced or exported by the one company under review, as follows:

Assessment Rates for Entries November 2022 - October 2023
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Nov. 1, 2022, through Oct. 31, 2023. Commerce will instruct CBP to liquidate entries during that period from Oman Aluminium Rolling at importer-specific rates.
