Oman Aluminum Foil: Final Results of CVD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has released the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on certain aluminum foil from Oman (C-523-816). These final results will be used to set final assessments of CVD on importers for subject merchandise entered during calendar year 2022.

The rate in these final results for the one respondent to this review is higher than the 1.36% CVD rate in the preliminary results, based on a calculation change Commerce made in response to comments received on the earlier results.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Sept. 9
New CVD cash deposit rates for the producers and exporters subject to this review take effect Sept. 9, the date these final results are to be published in the Federal Register. The new rates, which also will apply for importer assessment purposes, are as follows:

*Oman Aluminium Rolling Company SPC was found by Commerce to be cross-owned with Sohar Paper Cores LLC, Takamul Investment Company LLC, and OQ SAOC.
Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will keep their most recently assigned cash deposit rate. If the exporter has never been assigned its own CVD rate, but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate applies.
