Mexico Heavy-Walled Steel Pipes: Amended Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department is amending the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on heavy-walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Mexico (A-201-847) covering the period Sept. 1, 2022, through Aug. 31, 2023, that were published July 24, to correct a ministerial error in a calculation for one mandatory respondent to the review, which results in a slightly lower AD cash deposit rate for the respondent, Maquilacero S.A. de C.V. (Commerce's notice of amended final results mistakenly says the final results were published June 24.)

Maquilacero responded to the publication of the final results of the review, alleging that Commerce made a ministerial error in the final margin calculation, which excluded certain U.S. sales in the agency's analysis. Commerce agreed there was an inadvertent error made.
When Commerce corrected the ministerial error, the rate for Maquilacero was lowered from 7.77% to 7.02%.
Commerce will assess AD on all appropriate entries from Maquilacero based on the new 7.02% AD rate. That new rate is applicable for cash deposit purposes beginning Sept. 8.
(The review period is 09/01/22 - 08/31/23. See Commerce's notice regarding the original final results (see 2507230078 for a summary of those results) for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc.)
