  • On June 24, the Commerce Department initiated its less-than-fair-value and countervailing duty investigations on “Steel Concrete Reinforcing Bar from Algeria, Bulgaria, Egypt, and Vietnam (see 2507020021). These investigations have been assigned the following case numbers: Algeria (A-721-001/C-721-002); Bulgaria (A-487-002); Egypt (A-729-805/C-729-806); and Vietnam (A-552-853/C-552-854) (here).
  • UPDATE: Importer/Bond Query K1 Output Record: To ensure backward compatibility, CBP will utilize the last field in the K2 record when bond amounts are 10 digits in length and continue to utilize the bond amount field in the K1 record when the amount is 9 digits or less in the Importer/Bond Query (here).
  • The Draft ACE Cargo Release Status Notification and Draft ACE Cargo Release CATAIR have been reposted to CBP.gov. There are no new changes (but the CATAIR has an updated link). The Record Identifier SO70 (Output) in the ACE Cargo Release SO Status Notification document was previously updated to accommodate the increase in Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes accepted. The CATAIR release was previously updated to reflect the June 28 deployment of the enhancement enabling filers to include up to 32 HTS numbers on an entry summary line (here).
