  • The FDA has created new Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) product codes. The product codes are available immediately (here).
  • GUIDANCE on the implementation of the executive order “Extending the Modification of the Reciprocal Tariff Rates” issued July 7. This EO extends the suspension of the country specific bespoke rates, except for products of China, including Hong Kong and Macau, until 12:01 a.m. EDT on Aug. 1 (here).
  • On Aug. 14, CBP will deploy an enhancement in the ACE production environment to increase the record K1 (output) identifier from nine to 10 characters. This enhancement will support higher bond values in the output record. These changes will be deployed in the certification environment on July 15 (here).
  • CBP's Office of Trade is hosting a free webinar, “How CBP Protects Intellectual Property Rights at the Border,” on July 17 at 11:30 a.m. EDT. This webinar is directed to the trade and will introduce CBP’s eRecordation program and how brand owners can work with CBP to prevent importations of infringing goods from entering the U.S. There will be a Q&A portion following the presentation (here).
