One application form is the Import Inspection Application, which asks for information that is on the foreign inspection certificate, such as product description and process and product categories. The other application form is the Application for the Return of Exported Products to the United States, which is filled out so that USDA's Recall Management and Technical Analysis staff may decide whether re-inspection of the returned product is needed and to notify the appropriate FSIS office where to perform the re-inspection of the product, if necessary.
