  • The Reconciliation Error Dictionary (version 11) has been updated to support the increase in allowable additional identifying Harmonized Tariff Schedule numbers and allowable merchandise value and duty amounts in the additional original value duty detail per entry summary line, from eight to 32. CBP will deploy these updates in the certification (testing) and production environments on July 3 (here).
  • CBP is completing an update to the Automated Export System Response Message 15A, where the severity of Response Message 15A is being upgraded from “Compliance” to a severity of “Fatal” on July 14. This is to ensure further compliance with the changes outlined in Federal Register Notice 85 FR 60479 that requires the expansion of the foreign-trade zone identifier from 7 to 9-characters. This change is effective immediately in certification for testing (here).
