Malaysia Utility Scale Wind Towers: Final Results of CVD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has published the final results of a countervailing duty administrative review on utility scale wind towers from Malaysia (C-557-822). The review covered subject merchandise from the exporters under review entered during the period of calendar year 2022.

Commerce upheld its intent to rescind the review for 11 companies that it continued to find, as it did in the preliminary results, had no reviewable shipments during the review period: CS Wind Corporation; CS Wind China Co., Ltd; CS Wind Taiwan Ltd; CS Wind Turkey Kule Imaltati A.S; CS Wind UK Limited; CS Wind Vietnam Co., Ltd; CS Wind Portugal, S.A.; GE Renewable Energy; GE Renewable Malaysia Sdn. Bhd; Nordex SE; and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.
Commerce said it made some changes to the rate calculation used in the preliminary results of this review for CS Wind Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The new CVD cash deposit rate, which takes effect June 16, is almost double the 2.24% rate preliminarily calculated.
Cash Deposit Requirements
Effective June 16, Commerce is setting the following CVD cash deposit rate:

For all non-reviewed firms, Commerce will instruct CBP to continue to collect cash deposits of estimated countervailing duties at the most recent company-specific rate applicable to the company, or at the all-others rate, as appropriate.
