Taiwan Corrosion-Resistant Steel: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department has published the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on corrosion-resistant steel products from Taiwan (A-583-856). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.

Commerce noted that a change in the margin calculation for mandatory respondent Prosperity Tieh Enterprise Co., Ltd. in these final results moved the preliminary rate calculated, 1.63%, lower, to 0.99%.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect May 7

Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for some companies for entries on or after May 7, the date these final results were published in the Federal Register. Exporters that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set for the respective company in the most recent previous administrative review, and exporters that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the rate assigned to the manufacturer. If a rate has never been assigned to either the manufacturer or the exporter, the “all others” rate applies. That rate is 11.04%. The new rates are as follows:

Assessment Rates for Entries July 2022 - June 2023

Importers of subject merchandise exported by Prosperity Tieh during the period July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, will be assessed AD duties at importer-specific rates, and importers of subject merchandise from Sheng Yu won't be assessed AD. Importers of subject merchandise exported by Great Grandeul would be assessed AD at the rate listed above.
