  • ACE certification standard invasive maintenance window, April 30 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT (here).
  • CBP is informing the Office of Management and Budget that it is planning to extend the collection of information related to the distribution of funds pursuant to the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000, it said in a Federal Register notice scheduled for April 30 publication. This distribution is known as the continued dumping and subsidy offset (here).
  • The CATAIR AD/CVD Case Information Query (V10) has been updated and posted under the “Chapters: Current Capabilities” tab on CBP's website (here).
  • The Document Image System Implementation Guide has been updated. A New Document Label Code, FWS_CITES_PERMIT (DocCode FWS16), was added for the Fish and Wildlife Service (here).
  • USDA's Agriculture Marketing Service has published an update to its CATAIR guidelines. This upate is for Specialty Crops Program “MO” message sets; HTS code updates were made for Potatoes and Oranges (here).
  • CBP's Office of Field Operations based in Detroit intercepted 193 pounds of cocaine near the Ambassador Bridge port of entry on April 20, according to an April 28 release. The Canada-bound commercial vehicle was found to be carrying several bricks of a white powdery substance in two duffle bags in its trailer. CBP officials determined the substance was cocaine after conducting tests. An estimated value of the cocaine wasn't given (here).
  • CBP's Office of Field Operations intercepted $1 million in alleged cocaine concealed in a commercial vehicle making entry from Mexico at the Pharr International Bridge in Texas on April 25, according to an April 28 release. The tractor trailer was found to be carrying 30 packages of alleged cocaine with a combined weight of 76 pounds (here).
