For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the companies listed below), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate, but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 22% applies.
Commerce noted it made changes to the margin calculations for Iljin Electric and the non-reviewed LS Electric, raising the rate calculated for those companies in the preliminary results.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect April 8
For entries on or after April 8, the scheduled publication date of these final results in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for subject merchandise produced or exported by three companies, as follows:
Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|
HD Hyundai Electric Co., Ltd. | zero |
Iljin Electric Co., Ltd. | 16.87% |
LS Electric Co., Ltd. | 16.87% |
Assessment Rates for Entries August 2022 - July 2023
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Aug. 1, 2022, and July 31, 2023. Commerce won't assess AD on subject merchandise from HD Hyundai during the review period; Commerce will assess AD on importers of subject merchandise from Iljin during the review period at importer-specific rates, and on importers from the other exporters under review at the rates listed above.
(The review period is 08/01/22 - 07/31/23. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2409130048 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
