Cambodia Paper File Folders: Prelim CVD Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect

The Commerce Department is setting new countervailing duty cash deposit requirements for imports of paper file folders from Cambodia (C-555-006), after finding countervailable subsidization of Cambodian producers in the preliminary determination of its CVD investigation. Suspension of liquidation and cash deposit requirements will take effect for entries on or after March 28, the date that the preliminary determination was published in the Federal Register.

Commerce also is considering the imposition of antidumping duties on paper file folders from Cambodia. The agency's preliminary AD duty determination is currently due May 21. Commerce also is conducting a concurrent CVD investigation on paper file folders from Sri Lanka.

CVD Suspension of Liquidation and Cash Deposit Requirements

Commerce says it will instruct CBP to suspend liquidation for all entries of subject merchandise that is entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after March 28. Preliminary CVD cash deposit rates will be required as follows:
