CBP updated its February ACE development and deployment schedule with the target change, according to a March 17 cargo systems message. The agency previously had said the target deployment date was "TBD" (see 2503070020).
"Please note that this is a notional schedule and subject to change," CBP said.
The first stage of the enhancement implementation called for requiring the estimated date of arrival when filing an entry type 86 (see 2407240041). The second stage called for providing a warning in ACE when a shipment may exceed the $800 per person/per day threshold for the administrative exemption under Section 321 (see 2501100031).
