  • A March 11 cargo systems message defining entry summary guidelines for steel and aluminum imports said that entries that did not achieve quota status by 4:30 p.m. local port time on March 11 and didn't qualify for the Section 232 quotas would need to be refiled as non-quota entries on March 12. The CSMS message also noted that all Section 232 tariff rates and absolute quotas would expire on March 11 (here)
  • ACE Certification Standard Invasive Maintenance Window, March 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT (here)
  • The National Commodity Specialist Division with CBP's Office of Trade will be presenting approximately 30 commodity-specific, educational webinars to support its internal and external stakeholders. The webinars will focus on the theme "Balancing Fair Trade" and they will provide guidance in support of validation and enforcement protocols and facilitate legitimate trade. Beginning in March and going through September, each webinar will commence at 1:30 p.m. EDT and run for about an hour. Registration for the eight April sessions is open (here).
