- The retirement of the Trade Export data universe in ACE Reports, originally scheduled for Jan. 23 (see 2501220060), was postponed as of Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. EST (here)
- On Jan. 28, CBP will deploy the following to the ACE Cargo Release Certification environment -- Cargo Sanctions, Updated Requirements for GBI Enrollment, and GBI Party Type Description. ACE Entry Summary will deploy GBI Party Type Description and Cargo Sanctions. These changes are reflected in the Draft Cargo Release CATAIR V38.3 and CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update V97 and V98 (here)
- RESOLVED: The issue with the Manufacturer Identification Code (MID) Create functionality has been resolved as of Jan. 23 at 9:30 a.m. EST (here)
- CBP has published updated frequently asked questions regarding the ACE warning message for de minimis shipments that may exceed the daily per person/per day threshold (see 2501210008) (here)
- Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) renewals for trade participants: In accordance with the implementation of the CBP Information Systems Security Policy, all trade participants who transmit electronic data directly to CBP's automated systems are required to have a signed ISA on file with CBP. ISAs are valid for three years. Trade participants should plan to submit a renewal six months before the expiration date, or when changes occur to the company’s legal name or data origination/physical address, to ensure continuity of data connectivity and prevent service delays when requesting updates to the data connection. - CBP is offering quarterly webinars throughout FY 2025 on how to report suspected trade violations online. The second round of the free webinars will be Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m. EST (on how anyone can report suspected trade violations online using the Trade Violations Reporting tool) and Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m. EST (on how to file Enforce and Protect Act allegations). - The issue reported earlier on Jan. 23 regarding users being unable to log into ACE Portal and also issues with ACE EDI processing has been addressed. ACE Portal is operational now and EDI processing resumed, but delays continue, as of 1:39 p.m. EST on Jan. 23 (here).
