  • RESOLVED: The backlog for ACE Air Manifest and Ocean Manifest outbound notifications as well as Rail notifications has been cleared Dec. 23 as of 8:06 p.m. EST. CBP first alerted ACE users of the backlog on Dec. 19 via a CSMS message (here).
  • Louisville CBP officers seized four shipments containing 962 pieces of counterfeit designer watches, bracelets, necklaces and earrings, which experts at the Centers of Excellence and Expertise estimated would have had a combined manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $18.81 million if the merchandise had been genuine. The goods arrived from Hong Kong and China on Dec. 17 and 18. CBP said it found 459 bracelets displaying the logos of Cartier, Chanel, Fendi, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Van Cleef and Arpels; 43 pairs of earrings with Van Cleef and Arpels and Cartier logosl 20 necklaces with Van Cleef and Arpels logos; and 440 watches bearing the Rolex logo. The shipments were heading to residences in Arizona, Virginia, Florida and New York, CBP said (here).
