  • CATAIR Appendix PGA Document Is No Longer in the DRAFT Section of CBP.gov: The draft version of the Appendix PGA document dated Sept. 17 has moved from the "Draft chapters: Future Capabilities" section to the "PGA Message Set Documents" section (here)
  • National Marine Fisheries Service Issues Proposed Rule on Certification of Admissibility (COA) Procedures: In July 2022, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) published an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) regarding the Certificate of Admissibility (COA) for designated fish products. NOAA Fisheries considered the comments received and published a proposed rule. NOAA Fisheries is accepting comments on the proposed rule until Feb. 18 (see 2412160033). NOAA Fisheries remains interested in feedback from stakeholders and interested parties on the reporting and recordkeeping burden of the COA, on the procedures for using certification in the entry filing process, and on ways to reduce the reporting burden and expedite release of admissible shipments through use of the ACE (here)
  • Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) Dates for 2025: Filers who are approved to participate in PMS can pay duties for shipments entered or released during the previous calendar month. Table with dates by month in 2025 included. (here)
  • Updated ACE CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update V98: The ACE CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update V98 has been updated. This will deploy to the Certification environment in January and Production environment in June. The updates include the following: (1) Added under the Header Level Cargo Entity Grouping, a new SE32 Input Record for Entity GBI Party Type Description; (2) Added under the Line Level Cargo Entity Grouping, a new SE52 Input Record for Entity GBI Party Type Description (here).
