.Japan Glycine: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on glycine from Japan (A-588-878). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Dec. 16

The following AD duty cash deposit requirements take effect beginning Dec. 16, the scheduled date of publication of these final results in the Federal Register:

For any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except for YGK/Nagase), cash deposit rates will also remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 53.66% applies. These cash deposit requirements, when imposed, will remain in effect until further notice.

Assessment Rates for Entries June 2022 - May 2023

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD on importers of subject merchandise for entries made June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023. For entries from YGK/Nagase, Commerce will instruct CBP to liquidate them at importer-specific rates.
