- UPDATE: Guidance on DIS Submission of Self-Certification Statements in Support of Executive Order 14114: On Nov. 4, CBP updated the guidance to add the new IMPORTER SELF-CERTIFICATION document label code (DocCode: CBP167) for self-certification statement submissions. Currently, filers submit the self-certification statement via the "Other" document label code (DocCode: CBP03). Beginning Jan. 27, filers must use the new document (CBP167) to submit a self-certification statement to CBP via DIS. (here)

- ACE Reports: On Dec. 4, CBP restored the ability of ACE Reports users with access to more than one account to schedule reports for delivery by e-mail. In addition, these users will be able to run reports for any company to which they are connected without logging out and logging back in as the target company. (here)
- CBP's officers uncovered nearly $7.5 million worth of methamphetamine concealed within a tractor trailer hauling jicama from Mexico while conducting inspections at the Pharr International Bridge port of entry in Texas, the agency said. On Dec. 9, CBP officers discovered the 892 packages containing 838 pounds of methamphetamine while using non-intrusive inspection equipment, CBP canines and physical inspections. Homeland Security Investigations has initiated a criminal investigation on the seizure, CBP said. (here)
