  • The issues reported in CSMS #63288508, #63285001 and #63282799 regarding delays with Air Entry Type 86, ACE Air Manifest, and Ocean Manifest notifications (see 2412050019) are resolved as of Dec. 6 at 7:35 a.m. EST (here)
  • CBP field operations officers seized 34,386 pounds, or 15,552 kg, of sweetened condensed milk in an alleged fraudulent import attempt at the Pharr International Bridge in Texas by a tractor trailer arriving from Mexico, the agency announced Dec. 5. The shipment was manifested as "canned cream or milk substitute," and was sent for further inspection due to the zoosanitary certificate accompanying it that CBP later determined was not authentic nor issued by the Mexican government. The required zoosanitary certificate should indicate that the merchandise is free from foot and mouth disease. CBP seized the shipment, a total of 864 containers, on Nov. 26, pending destruction.
