The order concludes a Section 337 investigation the ITC launched in June 2023, based on allegations by Efficient Power Conversion (EPC) that Innoscience and its American sister-company are importing semiconductor components that utilize EPC's patented gallium nitride (GaN) technology. "After pouring nearly two decades and immense resources into developing our uniquely valuable intellectual property portfolio, this is a tremendous victory for EPC and a major win for fair competition globally," EPC CEO Alex Lidow said in a statement responding to the conclusion of the investigation.
