India Quartz Surface Products: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on certain quartz surface products from India (A-533-889). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise entered June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2023.

Commerce said it made no changes to the preliminary results of this review.
New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Nov. 5
For entries on or after Nov. 5, the date these final results are to be published in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates for some companies, as follows:

Average Rate. Commerce didn't individually investigate 44 companies subject to this review, instead assigning them the average rate of the non-selected companies (i.e., zero percent). See the Appendix to the notice for a complete list.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the 46 companies listed), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate, i.e. 1.02%, applies.
Assessment Rates for Entries June 2022 - May 2023
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023. Commerce will liquidate entries from Pokarna, Marudhar and the 44 non-examined companies without any AD.
