Vietnam Welded Stainless Steel Pressure Pipe: Prelim Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has published the preliminary results of its antidumping duty administrative review on welded stainless steel pressure pipe from Vietnam (A-552-816). Rates calculated in this review will be used to set assessment rates for importers of subject merchandise from producers and exporters that was entered July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.

Commerce has already ordered liquidation as entered, at the cash deposit rate in effect at the time of entry, for entries during the period of review from all exporters not under review (i.e., all except Sonha, Vinlong and Mejonson Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd., listed in Commerce's notice) (ADCVDWeb Messages # 3290405).
Cash Deposit Requirements
Once Commerce issues its final results, new AD duty cash deposit requirements may take effect for some companies, beginning on the date of publication of the final results in the Federal Register.

* Commerce said it considers Mejonson Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. part of the Vietnam-wide entity for the purposes of this review because it didn't submit a separate rate application or certification.
Assessment Rates
As part of this administrative review, Commerce also will calculate final AD assessments on importers of subject merchandise exported by the companies under review that was entered between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. If these preliminary results are confirmed in the final results, importers of subject merchandise would be assessed AD at the rates listed above..
