China Corrosion Inhibitors: Final Results of CVD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has published the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on certain corrosion inhibitors from China (C-570-123). These final results will be used to set final assessments of CVD on importers for entries Jan. 1, 2022, through Dec. 31, 2022.

Commerce said it made certain changes to calculations for the two mandatory respondents, resulting in a slightly lower CVD rate for all companies than in the preliminary results of this review.
New Cash Deposit Rate Took Effect June 21
The new CVD cash deposit rates for the producers and exporters subject to this review became effective June 21, the date these final results were published in the Federal Register. The new rates, which also will apply for importer assessment purposes, are as follows:

For exporters of subject merchandise that weren't under review (i.e., all except those listed above), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own CVD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate applies.
