China Garlic: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has published the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review on fresh garlic from China (A-570-831). Because there were no rates calculated in this review, the current rate won't change for entries of subject merchandise from the one exporter under review that was entered Nov. 1, 2021, through Oct. 31, 2022.

Commerce determined that Jining Huahui International Co., Ltd. had no bona fide exports of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period under review. Therefore, the review was rescinded, and subject merchandise from the company will continue to enter at AD rates previously in effect. Any entries filed with Jining Huahui's case number entered Nov. 1, 2021, through Oct. 31, 2022, will be liquidated at the China-wide rate, which is $4.71 per kilogram.
For any other exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all exporters of subject merchandise except Jining Huahui), cash deposit rates will remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. For companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the China-wide rate applies.
For entries on or after June 6, the date these final results were published in the Federal Register, entries of Jining Huahui’s subject merchandise will continue to be subject to the China-wide entity cash deposit rate of $4.71 per kilogram. This cash deposit requirement shall remain in effect until further notice.
(The period of review is 11/01/21 - 10/31/22. See the notice for additional information, including the scope of the order, potential cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2312070027 for the preliminary results of this AD admin review.)
