New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Feb. 14
New CVD cash deposit rates for the producers and exporters still subject to his review take effect Feb. 14, the date these final results were published in the Federal Register. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will keep their most recently assigned cash deposit rate, and companies that have never been assigned a CVD rate will get the all-others rate. The new rates, which will also apply for importer assessment purposes, are as follows:
Producer/Exporter | 2020 Rate* | CV Rate |
---|---|---|
Xingyi Metalworking Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.; Zhejiang Xingyi Metal Products Co., Ltd | 16.61% | 22.72% |
Hangzhou Evernew Machinery & Equipment Company Limited | 16.61% | 22.72% |
Hangzhou Xline Machinery & Equipment Co. Ltd | 16.61% | 22.72% |
*This rate is for assessment purposes only for subject merchandise entered Dec. 14, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2020. The rate listed in the “CVD Rate” column is the assessment rate for entries in calendar year 2021, as well as the CVD rate for cash deposit purposes.
Commerce will instruct CBP to collect cash deposits of estimated CVD in the amounts calculated for the year 2021 for the above-listed companies with regard to shipments of subject merchandise entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after the date of publication of these final results, i.e., Feb. 14. These cash deposit requirements shall remain in effect until further notice.
(The period of review is 12/14/20 - 12/31/21. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2309110071 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
