South Korea Thermal Paper: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department has released the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on thermal paper from South Korea (A-580-911). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD on importers of subject merchandise entered between May 12, 2021, and Oct. 31, 2022.

For entries on or after Feb. 7, the date these results are set to be published in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting a new AD duty cash deposit rate of 2.09% for subject merchandise produced or exported by Hansol Paper Company.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except Hansol Paper Company, the only company subject to the review), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the all-others rate of 6.19% applies.
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD on importers of subject merchandise for entries between May 12, 2021, and Oct. 31, 2022. Commerce will assess AD on importers of entries from Hansol at importer-specific rates.
