New Cash Deposit Rates Effective Feb. 2
For entries on or after Feb. 2, the date of these final results were published in the Federal Register, Commerce is setting new AD cash deposit rates for subject merchandise produced or exported by 118 companies, as follows:
Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|
Daejin Steel Company | 0.66% |
Korea Wire Co., Ltd. | zero |
Non-individually examined companies (116 companies*) | 0.66% |
* For a list of the 116 companies not individually examined in this review, see Appendix II of the notice.
No shipments. Commerce continued its preliminary determination that two companies, Astrotech Steels Private Limited and Geekay Wires Limited, had no shipments of subject merchandise during the review period. Cash deposit rates for these companies will not change, and any entries under their case numbers will be assessed AD at the all-others rate.
For exporters of subject merchandise that were not under review (i.e., all except the companies listed above), cash deposit rates remain at the level set in the most recent review of each respective company. If the exporter has never been assigned its own AD rate but the manufacturer has, the rate assigned to the manufacturer applies. For merchandise manufactured and exported by companies that have never been assigned a cash deposit rate by Commerce, the “all others” rate of 11.8% applies.
Assessment Rates
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022. Commerce will assess AD at importer-specific rates for entries from Daejin, and instruct CBP to liquidate entries from Korea Wire without regard to AD. Rates will be assessed the non-individually examined companies as listed above.
(The review period is 07/01/21 - 06/30/22. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2307280015 for a summary of the preliminary results of this administrative review.)
