Brazil Uncoated Paper: Amended Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department is amending -- due to the ruling in a court case that challenged them -- the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on uncoated paper from Brazil (A-351-842) that were used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for subject merchandise entered March 1, 2018, through Feb. 28, 2019.

A final judgment issued by the Court of International Trade on Aug. 18 means the AD rate for Suzano S.A. changes to 8.63%, from the original final rate of 32.31%. This new rate, for the March 2018 through February 2019 period of review, is effective Aug. 28. However, because Suzano has a superseding cash deposit rate, i.e., there have been final results published in a subsequent administrative review, Commerce will not issue revised cash deposit instructions to CBP, and the current cash deposit rate for Suzano will not change.
The notice also said Commerce remains, at this time, "enjoined by CIT order from liquidating entries that: were produced and exported by Suzano, and were entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption during the period March 1, 2018, through February 28, 2019. These entries will remain enjoined pursuant to the terms of the injunction during the pendency of any appeals process."
(The review period is 03/01/18 - 02/28/19. See Commerce's notice for more information, including the scope of the order, detailed cash deposit and assessment instructions, etc. See 2101260016 for a summary of the original final results of this review.)
