State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Singapore, Japan
The State Department approved two potential military sales, to Singapore and Japan, worth nearly $1 billion combined, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said July 25.

The agency approved a $630 million sale to Singapore for “F-15SG Munitions, Follow-On Training and Sustainment” and related equipment. There is no prime contractor, DSCA said. “Manpower support will be determined through competition with defense articles anticipated to come from U.S. inventory.”
DSCA also approved a $293 million sale to Japan for “AIM-120C-7/8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles” and related equipment. The principal contractor will be Raytheon Missile Systems.
