New Supplies Co., Inc. and GJ Burkhart dba Fry Fastening Systems, challenging President Donald Trump's imposition of a new set of Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum “derivative” products on Feb. 8. #20-00048. Filed Feb. 25.

Aslanbas Nail and Wire Co. and LitNaglis JSC, challenging President Donald Trump's imposition of a new set of Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum “derivative” products on Feb. 8. #20-00049. Filed Feb. 26.

NLMK Indiana, LLC and NLMK Pennsylvania, LLC, challenging the Commerce Department's denial of its request for an exclusion from Section 232 tariffs on steel products. #20-00050. Filed Feb. 27.

Global Life Sciences Solutions USA LLC, on the classification of immobilized proteins. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 3913.90.2090 (5.8%). Global Life Sciences says it instead should have been classified under subheading 3002.10.0290 (free) or 3822.00.5090 (free). #20-00051. Filed Feb. 28.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Feb. 24 - March 1:

Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi A.S., appealing a May 31 CIT decision that sustained Commerce's final determination in the countervailing duty investigation on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey. #20-1506. Opened Feb. 24.

DAK Americas LLC and Auriga Polymers Inc., appealing a Dec. 27 CIT decision that upheld CBP's demand for repayment of funds they had received under the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000. #20-1513. Opened Feb. 26.
