Samsung's application filed in January and published Aug. 31 proposes (20170249010) shocking people out of their sickness by “applying an electrical stimulus to the vestibular system” through electrodes clamped to the viewer’s head or neck. “The vestibular system reacts in response to the electrical stimulus and a signal is delivered to the brain via neurons,” it said. “The user feels less sickness.” Representatives at the companies didn't comment.
