Commerce Asks Industry to Apply for TAC Membership

The Commerce Department is asking for applications to sit on the department’s technical advisory committees (here). The committees advise Commerce on the guidelines for and administration of export controls. Commerce is accepting applications for one year. Committee terms last four years. The seven TACs are as follows: Information Systems; Materials; Materials Processing Equipment; Regulations and Procedures; Sensors and Instrumentation; Transportation and Related Equipment; and Emerging Technology and Research Advisory.
