APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Sept. 30

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes Sept. 30 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Phytophthora Facilities List: The Approved Facilities for Hosts of Phytophthora ramorum list (here) has been updated, 09/2014-09, to add registry number 69163 to the list of approved facilities that are authorized to export plants for planting (except seeds) to the U.S. from a country where Phytophthora ramorum (sudden oak death) is present.
